About Textile Technology Department

The Textile Technology Department was running from the start of the institute i.e. 2009-10. The course provides the diploma holders following employment opportunities
1. Supervisor in various sections of Textile Mills such as spinning/weaving/processing, Textile design, knitting, production, sales, maintenance etc.
2. Supervisor in textile mills to check/test the standards and quality of fiber, yarn, fabric and garments as per specification.
3. Supervisor defense handlooms and handicraft, textile committee/corporation, export houses, garment houses and similar undertakings dealing with textiles, woolen mills, carpet industry.
4. Technical Assistant in research and development organization engaged in the field of textiles and textiles laboratories.

5. Supervisor in textile machinery manufacturers/auxiliaries for erection and installation, sales and services.
6. Teacher in Technical institutes.
7. Self Employment.
